Saint Zarip Shah's shrine

This Saint Zarip Shah's shrine is one of the most sacred places in the Shibraradi upazila of Sherpur district. The mazar is situated in a union named GargZaripa. Hazrat Zarip Shah (RA) was a religious preacher. During the arrival of Hazrat Shah Jalal Yameen (RA) in the subcontinent, Hazrat Surp Shah (RA) was one of the 313 traveling companions. He preached religion in this area. He also dug a canal here. The name of the area has been named GargZaripa by the name of this missionary. After the death of Hazrat Zarip Shah, he was buried here. His cemetery is known as Saint Zarip Shah's mazar.
